Registration is required to post on Big Star Reference
Discussion Boards, however,
Membership has it's privilages!
Only Registered Members can:

reserve their User Name for their sole use. If you are not a member and
you post a message under the name "John", someone else can post as "John"
also. If you registered as a member with the name "John", and someone tried
to use that name, that person would be told to pick a different name.

modify posts up to 30 minutes AFTER they have already been posted.

search the message boards, by keyword or author.

view Members Only topics, like multimedia files.

create a profile with a favorite link, statement and/or picture.

send private messages to other members.

view a list of members.

view a list of most recent posts.

get notified by email when a post has been responded to.

get visual recognition for being a frequent poster (BSR Member, BSR Bronze
Member, BSR Silver Member, BSR Gold Member, BSR Senior Gold Member).
Big Star Reference has been online since 1997 and is still going strong.
